Originally from New York City, Ariana is a graduate from Yale University in History and has lived in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro since 2008. She has been a yoga teacher for 10 years and combines her teaching practice with constant learning and travels throughout the U.S and India to study more about this ancient science.
Arianna completed a Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2003 at Shoshoni Ashram in Boulder, Colorado USA and is registered with the US Yoga Alliance. In 2008, she travelled to India and completed an Advanced Yoga Training and Yoga Therapy course at Yoga Vidya Gurukul Ashram in Nasik. Since her return from India, Arianna lives in Paraty, close to the mountains, ocean and tropical forest where she teaches yoga and enjoys living in harmony with nature.
Other courses Arianna has participated in include teaching yoga for children and plans to be in India returned from India after studying a Yoga and Vedanta philosophoy course. Arianna believes in the power that yoga has to bring peace, well-being and true happiness to every individual. She offers all-levels Hatha Yoga classes which combine the practice of asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breath control), mind concentration (dharana), deep relaxation and mantra (devotional chants).
