Meet with the local guide and yoga teacher who will take you on the journey into the Amazon for a jungle exploration of forest hikes, boat river tours blended with daily yoga classes in the incredible jungle studio for relaxation and rejuvenation in nature’s lush tropical backdrop.
Our days in the Amazon will include morning and evening hikes, canoe rides or a catamaran to seek out the lakeside wildlife such as hoatzin, caiman, horned screamers and otters and witness the overhead sightings of macaws. Enjoy views from a canopy tower with visions of jungle horizons over the Tambopata National Reserve and enjoy the possible sight of overhead flocks of toucans and raptors.
Awaken in the morning to the jungle sounds for early morning yoga classes before the day’s activities designed to rejuvenate and refresh our senses with the sights and sounds. The sunset evening yoga classes will be gentle and calming, tuning into the rhythms of the forest and wildlife and connecting our minds, hearts and bodies to the beautiful surroundings and harmony of the Amazon.
The yoga classes are designed for all levels and will be integrated with the daily activities and itinerary. Enjoy the sound of the forest and the relaxing pace of the Amazon yoga retreat to take you out of your daily routine and into the beauty and abundance of one of the most diverse and lively places on our planet.
