Discover daily yoga classes in beautiful locations as you journey through the sacred land of the Incas with guided day tours along the way. Meals are included in the Sacred Valley as you wake up and salute the sun through local sites and sounds and enjoy some free time for you to relax and rejuvenate in charming Peruvian accommodations and peaceful Andean landscapes.
Begin with a pick-up in Cusco from the airport or your location and journey directly into the Sacred Valley where you will be hosted for three nights in peaceful and relaxing accommodations. Enjoy an evening yoga class with a focus on breath as you acclimatize to this fresh mountain region and appreciate the serenity of the Sacred Valley for your first night under the Andean stars.
Enjoy days of discovery with local cultural sights and blissful experiences after early morning yoga classes and delicious breakfasts to begin the days events. We’ll take a journey in this region to several locations to delight and lift your senses. Explore the Pisac ruins which are some of the finest and largest in the entire valley and shop in the Pisac market.
We’ll also travel to the community of Amaru where we will learn about Andean life and a community based initiative of traditional weaving techniques for a shared lunch with the project owners. Weaving has always been important to the cultural identity of the local communities in the southern Andes of Peru and experience an overview of the traditional textile techniques on a tour of colorful discovery.
Tour highlights also include a visit to Moray, a unique Inca site that was believed to be an agricultural research centre and formed by concentric, circular terraces that provide a large difference in temperature from top to bottom and amaze at the natural abundance and beauty of the region. Learn about the interesting agricultural techniques of the Incas and witness some stunning visuals of the natural terrain.
Our days in the Sacred Valley will also include a visit to the salt pools of Maras. These pre-Inca salt pools have been worked for centuries and are fed by an underground stream to produce pink salt for export and provide the back-drop for some pretty amazing photos!
Evenings will be spent at our accommodation with gentle and rejuvenating yoga classes and delicious meals to relax in the serenity of the day and enjoy calm evenings in the stunning light of the Sacred Valley sunsets.
Wake up in the Sacred Valley with some sun Salutations in your morning yoga class before a local visit of the town of Ollantaytambo, the only remaining town laid out to its original Inca design. Visit the archaeological site and enjoy a local lunch with time to wander the narrow streets lined with water channels that have been flowing since the time of the Inca.
In the afternoon, take a train to the town of Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu, in the heartland of the Sacred Valley for our early morning visit. We’ll spend the night at this mountain town before the visit to the famous Incan ruins.
Rise with the sun and journey up to Machu Picchu and begin a complete guided tour of the Inca citadel. Enjoy some time at this magnificient site to walk around, climb the Sungate and experience spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. In the afternoon, return to Aguas Calientes and take an afternoon train to Cusco arriving after nightfall.
Cusco is a famous colonial town surrounded by the vast Andes and dotted with sacred sites on its horizons where you will return to spend two nights.
